Chapter VI · The Workshop

About the workshop

The story behind every piece

Welcome to my workshop

Alexandre filming the Zombiology actual play

The artisan behind CorshCrafts: Alexandre Bourdin, passionate about roleplaying games since his teens and a tinkerer at heart. The CorshCrafts workshop began as a meeting point for several of my interests: working with materials like wood, leather and metal, and the worlds of TTRPGs and fantasy.

Every piece is designed to create a sense of immersion through its looks, or to enrich the experience at the table. It all starts with something I'd love to own myself as a player, or simply as a decorative object. Whether it's a decorated game master screen, a dice tower, a lamp, a leather binding or a game table, each of my pieces is made with care and attention to detail.

The CorshCrafts workshop

It all started with a first GM screen built for my own Dungeons & Dragons games. My players' enthusiasm and their fascination with this one-of-a-kind object encouraged me to develop my craft and make more and more elaborate pieces.

Today, every piece that leaves the workshop is the result of many hours of work, meticulous attention to detail, and a real passion for making things by hand.

Why "CorshCrafts"?

It's a blend of my gamer name, "Corshclaw", which was my Orc hunter in World of Warcraft nearly 20 years ago, and "Crafts", for my passion for making things by hand and creating one-of-a-kind objects. It was while playing that character that I met the friends who introduced me to tabletop roleplaying.

Handcrafted quality

Fine materials (solid wood, full-grain leather, brass) and a blend of traditional and innovative techniques, for pieces that will stand the test of time.

2

Every project is unique and made to your wishes. Dimensions, patterns, finishes: everything can be customized.

3

A longtime roleplayer, I make accessories designed by a player, for players.
